The Horizon Theater
CREATIVITY - TALENT - EXPRESSION - OPPORTUNITY
Theater is an art. It's a way to express what simple words cannot. When the lights hit the stage and the sound of the orchestra rings through the audience you can feel the theater magic start to take hold. This magic can capture theater veterans who have seen their favorite shows hundreds of times, or the young beginner who's just stepping into the theater for their first show. Whether you are sitting in the audience, behind the scenes, or in the spotlight, there's something special about helping to create the magic.

That was the mission when creating this community theater. We wanted a place of expression, free from judgement or anxieties. Where anyone can have help to grow and develop their talents whether it's their first time, or their hundredth.

Though our theater is new, we are more than familiar with the ins and outs of how this all works. As our theater grows, we promise to bring more shows full of variety and opportunities for performers and artists of all ages and talents.
Our Team
The Horizon Theater was started by Cory and Sarah Schaeperkoetter. They are both native to Sweetwater WY, and graduates of Western Wyoming Community College's theater program. Their passion and love for theater and the arts led them to want to share it with others. Creating their own community theater was the best way to encourage others to find their own form of self-expression.
